Why does MyEd need to verify me before I can use my account?

To ensure that nursery listings are managed by the right nursery and an authorised individual (i.e. an owner, manager or a member of staff from the nursery), we follow a verification process.

It is important for the account holder to register with their email address that is associated with the nursery (for example name@nursery-name.co.uk). If a private email address is used for registration that is not associated with the nursery (ie. firstname.lastname@mailprovider.com), one of our team would contact the nursery to verify the user and ensure that they are authorised to take ownership of the listing by the nursery.

Account verification is normally a quick process, however we do advise that it could take up to 48 hours (Mon-Fri) dependent on if we are able to make contact with the nursery management.

Users will be notified by email whether they have been successfully or unsuccessfully verified.
