Who can use MyEd?

MyEd has been designed from the ground for parents, nurseries, schools colleges and Local Authorities to benefit from digital technology.

For parents and carers, MyEd offers a single destination for:

  • Finding and comparing all essential information on nurseries, schools and colleges to help you make informed decisions on where to place your children. This includes Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) provision; admissions criteria and data; Ofsted ratings and reports; pupils performance and progress statistics; reviews by other parents/carers; and accessing additional information about before and after school clubs, activities, food hygiene and more. By creating a MyEd account, parents can save listings of learning providers, compare them and complete and submit their views and opinions of their and their children's' experiences of the nurseries and schools they have attended. With or without an account, parents can access MyEd service at no cost.

For learning providers:

  • MyEd is a subscription service that offers a user-friendly platform for creating powerful listings of their provision, updating essential admissions information for parents and efficiently submitting admissions data required by local authorities.

For Local Authorities; School Admissions Services:

  • MyEd is a means for the digitisation of the collection and publication of school admissions information processes, thereby making significant efficiency gains.
