What are the benefits of having a MyEd account?

We have designed the parent account to be simple to use. The benefits include:

• Free and simple: Setting up an account is free and takes just a few minutes to get started
• Compare: Want to see the statistics of different institutions side by side? This tool enables you to do do. Simple click on the 'Compare' button and the institution gets added to your account to help give you an overview of information in a easy to digest table.
• Save: If you have have found several nurseries or schools that meet your child's needs and want to shortlist them, simply click on the bookmark icon to save to your account. From your account, you can see these institutions on a map view and use the information to help you further refine your decision.
• Open Days: You can book virtual open days and keep track of all the information you need to attend. You can also save dates of physical open days in your schedule so that you don't miss them.
• Enquire: If an institution has enabled this feature, you can send enquiries directly to the institution from MyEd site.
• Parent Perspective: Is a different way to have your say. Our Parent Perspectives aim to capture parents' experiences of institutions attended by their children. The results of the survey style structured questionnaires give other families deeper understanding of the learning providers' services that goes beyond the stats and sometimes outdated Ofsted reports. Help other parents make decisions by leaving your input. You can see your review(s) from your account.

We aim to bring easy to use tools to parents in innovative ways to help them make more informed decisions based on the wisdom and experiences of other parents.
