How does MyEd get its information?
The information MyEd Search publishes about schools is collected from Local Authorities, the Department for Education (DfE) and Ofsted under the Government’s Open Licence Agreement. Nurseries, schools and colleges that have signed up for a MyEd Search Account are invited to submit additional details that give a fuller picture of the institution. Finally, we ask pupils’ parents and carers to review the institutions their child attends. This allows searchers to benefit from on-the-ground as well as official information.
